The Wilbarger Room was started in 1978.

The Wilbarger Room was donated by Edwin Peterson in memory of his wife Lee Wilbarger Peterson

Wilbarger china

The room contains many items such as china, crystal and English bone china.

Wilbarger Victrola

There is also a Victrola record player along with a set of parlor chairs and walnut and chintz chairs from the Wilbarger home.

Wilbarger fans

The room also contains a fan collection and a flint glass collection.

The room has dishes that were from the New York apartment of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Peterson. There are dishes from Lee Wilbarger Peterson's wedding. These dishes are made of glass with beautiful hand-crafted designs. It also contains furniture. The items were donated by residents who lived in Bastrop.
