The Library has several old books and periodicals, vintage newspapers, model of a typical ferry used in Bastrop to cross the Colorado before bridges were constructed, Bastrop fireman's helmet from late 1800's, arrowhead collection and a few other historic items. You can watch a 15 minute video about the history of Bastrop in the Library. Also, you will find a painting of Baron de Bastrop.
